I have so much respect for Terry for staying with the band.
I feel like Evanescence has become all about Amy, with a little bit of Terry mixed in. In fact, I can’t even remember the other members’ names, and I’m a huge fan. I think that’s why everyone seems to agree that the new album just isnt as good. Because it isn’t. I think when Will and John and Rocky left, they took too much of Ev with them, and I’m terrified because what will we all do if we can never go back (oh hey look at that) to old Ev??
What if the guys don’t want to be in the spotlight? Maybe they’re just there for the love of music. After all, the line-up has changed so much, it’s hard to remember that Evanescence is a band, not just a singer.
I want a friendship like Amy’s and Terry’s
“I’ve been trying to get to know and pay more attention to the other band members and not just Amy recently. Amy Lee is my idol and will always be my favorite, but I feel bad for the other guys being in her shadow, because they ARE apart of the band too, and when I say Evanescence is my favorite band, I want to mean Evanescence, not just Amy.”
I love that Terry is Amy’s bitch.
I think about Terry a lot of time. I think he’s a fighter, because the problems about the half paralysis in his body should be a big reason to be sad all the time. Terry is a brave man, and maybe he is a bit depressed, I don’t know, but he is a man to admire.
I hate when people say Amy Lee, referring to Evanescence. Evanescence is not just Amy. She plays the piano and sings. Guitars, drums and bass don’t play by themselves. There are amazing guys making a good noise!
