I’ve loved Evanescence since I first heard of them in 2003, but as the years have gone on, it has been very awkward and annoying watching Amy become the band itself. She is now so self-absorbed that she alone is driving me away from the band’s music, and it saddens me. Evanescence is not “Amy Lee and these guys”. They are supposed to be a unit and they no longer act like one.
